Lance Theron is a versatile, multi-faceted DJ from Cape Town, South Africa and has been in
the
industry for more than fifteen years. Lance is a great entertainer with an instinctual
ability
to
read crowds and adapt to any genre of music needed to entertain his audience.
In 2010, Lance entertained avid football fans during the FIFA World Cup in Cape Town and
kept
the
Fan Zone alive and energized. 2011 was another big year for Lance as he was awarded the
title
Best
DJ on MFM, won first place in the DJ talent search held by Glee Events and partnered with
the
Dubliner International Group as their resident DJ. 2012-2014 saw Lance embarking on the
International DJ tour to Denmark, Sweden and Norway and he still travels to Sweden on a
regular
basis for these events. Lance is also a Guest DJ on Good Hope FM’s Night Funk and in 2013,
Lance recently released a track called “Back To You” featuring SAMA & Metro
FM-nominated
South
African artist Chad Saaiman. The song was co-produced by chart-topping singer and
producer
Mario Ogle and is currently on the airwaves in and around South Africa.
The latest single is
called “Higher” and the track features songstress, Candice Thornton. The song has been
picked
up by major radio stations in Cape Town, namely, 5FM, KFM, GoodHope FM and Heart 104.9
FM.
“Higher” has charted at number 4 on Heart FM’s SA Top 10, number 6 on Goodhope FM’s
Hot30
chart, number 1 on the GoodHope FM SA Top 20 chart and number 8 on the 5FM Top10@10 and
still
climbing!
Lance Theron then released his 3rd single called 'LETS TALK ' which had great succes
in South Africa as well as the rest of Africa, He has recently dropped his 4th single
'FEELS TO
BE LOVED ' FT Swahkile , which has peaked at No.2 on CPT stations as well as topping
the Sa
Top
5@5 and Top 10@10.
Lance performed at this year’s Cape Town Talent Showcase at the CTICC as the
guest DJ for the evening’s festivities and shortly after that, he made his debut on
GoodHope
FM’s breakfast show with an electrifying King of Clubs set. And The Drs In The House He
blew
the crowd away at this year’s Mitchells Plain Festival and was also one of the featured
artists
at the official Festive Lights Switch-On concert held at the Grand Parade in December
which
performed in front of 85 000 roaring crowd.
Lance started 2017 off with a bang headlining the
KFM Coca-Cola Summer Sessions tour where he visited many popular venues in Cape Town
and
gave
his audiences an experience they will never forget. He had the privilege of playing to
30
000
people at this year’s KDay hosted by KFM , not to mention being the official opening
act
for
MICASA as they launched their 4th album in CAPE TOWN , and has many more major upcoming
events
.
Lance has toured the scandinavian shores for the last five years in sweden ( Gothenburg
,
Varberg , Stockholm , Halmstad , Stromstad and Kungshamn ) Copenhagen in Denmark ,
Norway
just
to name a few , while in Sweden he had the opportunity to be one of the opening acts at
the
AMAZE FESTIVAL AFTER PARTY 2018 which was headlined by non other than STEVE ANGELO (
Swedish
house mafia )he is looking to do more gigs abroad so that he can showcase his talent
worldwide.
